AsyLex is proud to announce that we have signed the Global Refugee Forum (GRF) Legal Community Pledge, joining a diverse range of legal and other refugee rights actors to support efforts to protect and find solutions for refugees, asylum-seekers, stateless persons, and other forcibly displaced persons and to increase the number of those displaced around the world who have equal access to justice - in line with Sustainable Development Goal 16 "Equal Access to Justice for All”.
In signing the GRF Legal Community Pledge, AsyLex has joined over 90 law firms, bar associations, corporations, and legal and community empowerment organizations, in a multi-stakeholder initiative to better leverage and increase resources, including pro bono hours, to meet the diverse legal needs of refugees and others forcibly displaced and to increase their access to justice, rights and solutions.
AsyLex is excited to explore the emerging partnerships with the GRF Legal Community Pledge. We are looking forward to collaborating in solidarity with others in the global legal community, to identify and address the unmet legal needs of refugees and others forcibly displaced.
